LITTLER FIRES 113 AVERAGE, HUMPHRIES SURVIVES THRILLER IN POLAND DARTS OPEN SECOND ROUND

Luke Littler produced a staggering 113.84 average to headline a dramatic Saturday night at the 2026 Poland Darts Open in Krakow, as the second round reached its conclusion. Littler's 6-1 victory was built on three 180s and a perfect 100 percent doubling record, including a clinical 68 checkout in leg one, a 72 in leg three, and a 12-dart break with an 86 finish in leg four. He sealed the win with a 171 set-up shot and double 10 to move 5-1 ahead.

Luke Humphries survived a hostile atmosphere and a deciding leg to edge past Polish number one Krzysztof Ratajski 6-5. Humphries broke early and led 5-2, but Ratajski fought back with a 76 checkout and double 20 to force a decider. With referee Kirk Bevins calming the whistling crowd, Humphries kept his composure and pinned double four for victory, celebrating by putting his fingers to his ears.

Michael Smith sealed a 6-5 win over Joe Cullen with a nerveless two-dart 96 finish in the deciding leg. Smith fired seven 180s and averaged 97.01, responding after Cullen led 5-4 with six perfect darts in leg 10 to force the decider. Jonny Clayton continued his momentum with a 6-4 success over Adam Gawlas, averaging 95.72 and sealing the deal with an 85 finish after Gawlas missed tops for a 100 checkout. Josh Rock was emphatic in a 6-1 dismantling of William O'Connor, averaging 102.98 with four 180s and wrapping up with a brilliant 108 checkout.

Luke Woodhouse produced a comeback from 4-1 down to defeat Callan Rydz 6-4, highlighted by a sensational 170 checkout and a 174 set-up followed by a 118 finish. Stephen Bunting claimed a scrappy 6-4 victory over Niels Zonneveld despite being outscored in 180s, capitalising on Zonneveld's doubles struggles. Gian van Veen closed the session with a nervy 6-5 win over Andrew Gilding, who had averaged 106 in the opening round. Gilding raced to a 2-0 lead and hit a brilliant 130 bull finish to lead 4-3, but Van Veen fired six 180s and survived double trouble before sealing the win in a deciding leg where both players missed match darts.
