GERWYN PRICE EDGES RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD IN SWANSEA EXHIBITION THRILLER WITH 109 AVERAGE

Gerwyn Price avenged a defeat from the previous night by narrowly defeating Raymond van Barneveld in a high-quality exhibition match in Swansea on Saturday. Price, playing in front of a home Welsh crowd, averaged 109.84 to secure a 3-2 victory over the five-time world champion, who himself posted a 102.54 average. The event followed a similar exhibition in Wrexham on Friday, where Van Barneveld had emerged victorious.

The Swansea booking featured a quartet of PDC stars—Raymond van Barneveld, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, and Joe Cullen—who engaged in a meet-and-greet with fans before competing in several matches. In the opening contest, Stephen Bunting claimed a 3-1 win over Joe Cullen, despite Cullen averaging an impressive 111.06 to Bunting's 99.21.

Later in the evening, Raymond van Barneveld bounced back from his loss to Price by edging Joe Cullen 4-3. The night concluded with Gerwyn Price once again shining, defeating Stephen Bunting 4-2 with a 107.70 average. Price will now look to carry this form into Night 5 of the Premier League Darts in Cardiff on Thursday.
