UK OPEN FOURTH ROUND SET FOR FRIDAY NIGHT ACTION IN MINEHEAD, VAN GERWEN-ASPINALL HEADLINES MAIN STAGE

The fourth round of the UK Open kicks off on Friday evening in Minehead, with the 32 winners from Friday afternoon joined by the world's top 32 players entering at this stage. The unseeded draw has produced several intriguing ties, headlined by a blockbuster clash on the Main Stage between three-time champion Michael van Gerwen and England's Nathan Aspinall.

The Main Stage opens with former world champion Rob Cross taking on Dutchman Gian van Veen, followed by world number one Luke Humphries facing Luke Woodhouse in an all-English showdown. Teenage sensation Luke Littler then meets Australian Damon Heta before the marquee match-up of van Gerwen versus Aspinall.

Across the outer boards, notable matches include Joe Cullen facing Germany's Martin Schindler on Board 2, while Chris Dobey takes on five-time major winner James Wade. Board 3 features former world champion Michael Smith against Leon Weber, and Irish youngster Keane Barry meeting England's Henry Coates. Welsh star Gerwyn Price headlines Board 4 against Greg Ritchie, with Ross Smith versus Andrew Gilding also on that board.

Other key contests include a Scottish battle on Board 5 where Cameron Menzies faces two-time world champion Peter Wright, while Welshman Jonny Clayton meets Alexander Merkx on Board 8. Stephen Bunting faces Thibault Tricole on Board 6, and Northern Ireland's Josh Rock takes on William O'Connor on Board 7. The evening session begins at 8:00 PM on Friday, March 6.
