UK OPEN QUARTER-FINALS SET FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH WELSH CLASH HEADLINING

The final day of the UK Open 2026 in Minehead kicks off on Sunday afternoon with the quarter-finals, as eight players remain in contention for the title. The afternoon session, starting at 1:00 PM, features four matches: Krzysztof Ratajski versus Josh Rock, James Wade against Rob Cross, defending champion Luke Littler meeting Danny Noppert, and a Welsh showdown between Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price. Three former UK Open champions—Littler, Noppert, and Wade—are among the last eight, with Littler chasing back-to-back titles.

In the first quarter-final, Krzysztof Ratajski faces Josh Rock. Ratajski has reached the last eight for the second time in his career, defeating Ricky Evans 10-4, Oskar Lukasiak 10-5, and Ryan Searle 10-5. Josh Rock, a semi-finalist last year, advanced with wins over William O'Connor 10-9, Dominik Gruellich 10-7, and Stephen Bunting 10-7. The head-to-head record favors Rock, who has won 11 of their 13 meetings, including the last six.

James Wade takes on Rob Cross in another quarter-final. Wade delivered a masterclass on Saturday night with a 105.83 average, five 180s, and a 59 percent checkout rate to beat Michael van Gerwen, after earlier victories over Chris Dobey 10-9 and Gabriel Clemens 10-2. Rob Cross advanced with a 10-7 win over Gian van Veen, a 10-9 comeback against Mike De Decker, and a 10-6 victory over Daryl Gurney. Wade leads their head-to-head 13-10 in 24 meetings.

Defending champion Luke Littler meets Danny Noppert, who knocked out Luke Humphries 10-6 on Saturday night after hitting a nine-darter in a 10-4 win over Dimitri Van den Bergh and beating Peter Wright 10-2. Littler has progressed with wins over Damon Heta 10-3, Kevin Doets 10-8, and Gary Anderson 10-5, averaging 102.48 against Anderson. Noppert has beaten Littler once in four meetings, with Littler winning the other three, including a 16-9 victory in last year's Grand Slam of Darts semi-finals.

The final quarter-final pits Jonny Clayton against Gerwyn Price. Clayton has brushed aside Alexander Merkx 10-2, Darryl Pilgrim 10-7, and Martin Lukeman 10-7. Price advanced with wins over Greg Ritchie 10-3 and Wessel Nijman 10-5, then staged a stunning comeback from 4-9 down to beat Keane Barry 10-9. Price leads their head-to-head 29-12 in 41 official matches, though Clayton won their most recent Premier League encounter in February before Price took revenge last week at a Players Championship event.
