DEFENDING CHAMPION NATHAN ASPINALL WITHDRAWS FROM EUROPEAN DARTS TROPHY; ANDERSON AND WADE ALSO OUT

Defending champion Nathan Aspinall will not attempt to defend his title at the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen. Aspinall, who won the Euro Tour event there in 2025 for his first-ever Euro Tour title, has withdrawn from the upcoming edition for unknown reasons. The tournament runs from Friday, March 13th through Sunday, March 15th.

Aspinall is not the only high-profile absentee. James Wade, a UK Open finalist last weekend, will also remain in England, while Gary Anderson, who often skips Euro Tours, has likewise pulled out.

In accordance with PDC rules, the three highest-ranked losers from the final round at the Tour Card Qualifier have been called up as replacements. They are Mensur Suljovic, Keane Barry, and Lukas Wenig.
