BELGIAN DARTS OPEN 2026 PRIZE MONEY REVEALED: £230,000 POT WITH £35,000 TOP PRIZE IN WIEZE

The PDC European Tour heads to Belgium for the Belgian Darts Open 2026, set to take place from March 20 to 22 at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze. This event, one of fourteen on the Euro Tour circuit, offers not only sporting prestige but also a significant prize fund, with a total of £230,000 up for grabs. The winner will pocket a top prize of £35,000, while even first-round entrants are guaranteed a minimum payout of £2,000.

The prize money breakdown is detailed as follows: the runner-up receives £15,000, semi-finalists get £10,000 each, quarter-finalists earn £8,000, third-round participants take home £5,000, second-round players receive £3,500, and first-round competitors are awarded £2,000. An important regulatory note for Euro Tour events is that seeded players who enter directly into the second round via the Order of Merit do not have their prize money credited to rankings if they lose their first match, though this rule differs for qualifiers who may be designated as seeds due to withdrawals.

Beyond the cash rewards, the prize money distributed in Wieze impacts multiple rankings, including the PDC Order of Merit, Pro Tour Order of Merit, and notably the European Tour Order of Merit. This latter ranking is crucial, as only the top 32 qualify for the European Championship later in the season, with higher positions offering more favorable draws for that finale scheduled for October.
