PDC ORDER OF MERIT UPDATE: ROCK AND PRICE CLIMB TOP 10, NIJMAN BREAKS INTO TOP 20 AFTER EUROPEAN DARTS TROPHY

The PDC Order of Merit has been updated following the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen, with notable shifts in the top 10 and a breakthrough for Wessel Nijman. Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price both moved up one place each, now sitting seventh and eighth respectively, at the expense of Stephen Bunting, who dropped two spots to ninth. Rock's rise comes after he reached another Euro Tour quarterfinal and made the semifinals at the UK Open for the second year running, earning £35,000 in Minehead. Price, who began 2026 ranked 12th, reached the final in Göttingen and a UK Open semifinal, where he was knocked out by James Wade.

Wessel Nijman made a significant leap after winning the European Darts Trophy, his first European Tour title. The 25-year-old Dutchman, who started the season ranked 29th, now sits 20th in the world. His triumph in Göttingen, where he averaged well over 102, earned him the £35,000 top prize—the largest of his career—and moved him past players like Rob Cross, Luke Woodhouse, Dave Chisnall, and Daryl Gurney in prize money over the past two years. Nijman had earlier won a Players Championship event this season, beating Gerwyn Price in both that final and the Göttingen decider.

Krzysztof Ratajski continued his strong start to 2026 by reaching the UK Open quarterfinals for the first time in five years, defeating Ricky Evans, Oskar Lukasiak, and Ryan Searle before bowing out. That performance earned him £20,000 and a return to the world's top 25. German player Niko Springer also benefited from a home run, reaching the quarterfinals of the European Darts Trophy with three last-leg decider wins against Kai Gotthardt, Stephen Bunting, and Ross Smith before losing to Damon Heta. Springer's £8,000 prize moved him up to 51st in the world.

The rankings will continue to shift as the ProTour rolls on, with the next opportunity coming at the Belgian Darts Open in Wieze from March 20-22, 2026. This tournament could impact the Order of Merit, especially for players just outside the top 16 seeking better seeding for major TV events. The updated rankings show Luke Littler leading with £2,961,000, followed by Luke Humphries (£1,206,500) and Gian van Veen (£948,250).
