GERWYN PRICE CROWNED PREMIER LEAGUE NIGHT TWO CHAMPION IN ANTWERP AFTER THRILLING FINAL WIN OVER VAN GERWEN

Gerwyn Price has claimed victory on Night Two of the Premier League Darts in Antwerp, defeating Michael van Gerwen 6-3 in a high-quality final. Price, who averaged 104 and reached 115 in the final legs, broke early with an 80 checkout and a 78 finish to lead 2-0. Van Gerwen fought back with a stunning 167 checkout and a 160 break, but Price sealed the win with key finishes including double 10 for 4-2 and double six for 5-2, despite Van Gerwen saving a match dart at 5-2 to make it 5-3.

In the semi-finals, Van Gerwen edged past Luke Littler 6-4 in a match featuring multiple breaks of throw, with Van Gerwen hitting a 74 checkout to lead 4-3 and double 16 to close it out. Price, meanwhile, won an all-Welsh battle against Jonny Clayton 6-5, coming from 3-2 down and surviving a decider after Clayton led 5-4.

The quarter-finals saw Littler get his first win of the season, rallying from 4-1 down to beat Luke Humphries 6-5, with Humphries missing a match dart. Van Gerwen eased past Josh Rock 6-2, breaking early and capitalizing on Rock's missed doubles. Clayton produced a stunning comeback from 4-1 down to defeat Stephen Bunting 6-4, winning five legs in a row including a 124 checkout. Price also won a decider against Gian van Veen 6-5, breaking back from 4-2 down and sealing it after Van Veen missed chances.
