LUKE LITTLER STAGES MIRACLE COMEBACK FROM 5-0 DOWN TO SNATCH DUBLIN PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE

Luke Littler produced a remarkable comeback to win Night Seven of the 2026 Premier League Darts in Dublin, defeating Gerwyn Price 6-5 in a dramatic final at the 3Arena. Littler, who averaged 95.54, overturned a 5-0 deficit to seal victory with a clinical 81 checkout on double 15, securing his second nightly win of the season. The world champion looked set for a heavy defeat after Price dominated the early stages, but capitalised on a series of missed match darts to complete a stunning turnaround in front of a raucous Dublin crowd.

Littler reached the final with a high-quality 6-3 victory over Stephen Bunting, where both players averaged over 100, and then edged Michael van Gerwen 6-5 in a semi-final that included a sensational 170 checkout from Van Gerwen. Price powered into the final with a ruthless 6-0 whitewash of Josh Rock, averaging over 100, and a stunning 6-1 dismantling of reigning champion Luke Humphries, where he averaged 109.04.

The final saw Price race into a 5-0 lead, but Littler avoided the whitewash with a 52 finish and then punished Price's missed darts at double top for 72 and further tops attempts. Littler reeled off legs to level at 5-5 before taking the deciding leg with an 81 checkout. Away from the headline acts, league leader Jonny Clayton suffered his first quarter-final defeat of the campaign, losing 6-3 to Luke Humphries, while Josh Rock remained without a win after seven weeks. Gian van Veen withdrew through illness, handing Michael van Gerwen a walkover into the semi-finals.
