Beau Greaves' remarkable 114-match winning streak in the PDC Women's Series has been brought to a halt. The three-time women's world champion, who had not lost since April 2025 and had won 17 consecutive women's events, was defeated 4-1 by Fallon Sherrock in Wigan on Saturday.
Sherrock produced a stellar performance, averaging 102.12 to overcome Greaves' 100.28 average. Greaves, notable as the first woman to hit a nine-dart finish on the PDC ProTour, saw her historic run end in the fifth event of the PDC Women's Series. Sherrock's victory, however, was not the end of the day's drama, as she later fell 5-3 to Lisa Ashton in the final of that same event.
Demonstrating her champion's resilience, Greaves bounced back emphatically later on Saturday. She won the sixth event of the series, securing her fifth title of the year with a dominant 5-0 victory over Gemma Hayter in the final.
