OLIVER MITCHELL LEADS TOP AVERAGES AS CHALLENGE TOUR SHOWS DEPTH IN LEICESTER WEEKEND

The PDC Challenge Tour events 6 through 10 in Leicester last weekend highlighted the remarkable depth of talent on display, with five different winners emerging across the tournaments. The weekend served as a key indicator for emerging players and those vying for PDC Tour Cards, with exceptionally high standards and impressive averages from multiple competitors.

Oliver Mitchell stood out as the top performer, leading the list with a phenomenal 110.51 average, showcasing top-tier scoring power. Close behind were Dutch players Maikel Verberk with a fine 108.51 and Ron Meulenkamp with a strong 108.22. English players also featured prominently, with David Evans posting a 105.53 average, Daniel Nicholls at 104.61, and Jack Aldridge and Callum Francis tied with identical 104.38 averages.

The quality extended further, with players such as Aden Kirk, Nathan Potter, and Dutchman Patrick Geeraets all averaging well over 100, underscoring the competitive nature of the Challenge Tour. These figures reinforce that the level is remarkably high, suggesting players excelling here are close to success on the PDC's main stage.

The PDC Challenge Tour is set to resume on the weekend of 01/05/2026, 02/05/2026, and 03/05/2026, with tournaments 11 through 15 scheduled in Hildesheim, Germany. The upcoming events will test which players can maintain this form and position themselves for future opportunities.
