Luke Littler clinched the 2026 Poland Darts Open title on Sunday evening in Krakow, defeating Dutchman Gian van Veen 8-4 in the final. The 19-year-old Englishman, nicknamed "The Nuke," produced a dominant display, winning 33 of the 44 legs he played throughout the tournament for an impressive win rate of 75 percent.
That statistic places Littler on an exclusive list in PDC European Tour history. It marks only the fifteenth time a tournament winner has won at least 75 percent of his legs, underscoring his constant pressure, scoring power, and clinical finishing in Poland. An even more elite category exists for those exceeding 80 percent, achieved just three times: Phil Taylor holds the highest mark at 83.7 percent from ET5 in 2013, while Michael van Gerwen posted 83.3 percent in 2017 (ET10) and 82.5 percent in 2018 (also ET10).
Although Littler did not break the 80 percent barrier, his 75 percent firmly ranks him among the most dominant Euro Tour winners ever, especially given the depth of today's field. The performance confirms he brings not only spectacle but numbers with historical weight, combining scoring power and composure on doubles. If he continues on this path, it seems only a matter of time before he challenges that 80 percent mark.
