The landmark moment occurred during her second-round victory at Players Championship 6 in Leicester, where she delivered a flawless 180-180-141 combination against Mensur Suljovic. "I couldn't wait to tell my dad, even though I knew he'd be watching it!" Greaves beamed after the achievement, which marks a breakthrough in the demanding ProTour environment.
The 22-year-old produced the perfect leg in the third leg of her clash with Suljovic, but admitted the aftermath was nerve-wracking. "It was hard to get back into the game after I'd hit it, I was shaking afterwards," she revealed. Despite the pressure, Greaves held her composure to edge out the Austrian 6-5, ensuring the historic moment came within a winning performance. Her run was later ended in the last 32 by Scotland's David Sharp.
While women have struck nine-darters in PDC competition before—such as Fallon Sherrock on the Winmau Challenge Tour in 2023 and on the Modus Super Series—Greaves is the first to achieve it on the ProTour itself. This distinction matters, as ProTour floor events feature the full Tour Card field and represent one of the sport's most demanding competitive settings. "It's nice to be the first woman to hit one on the PDC ProTour, I'm glad it was on the stream as well," she said.
The nine-darter headlines a promising start to Greaves' first full season as a Tour Card holder. She has shown strong runs in the opening six Players Championship events of 2026 and currently sits inside the top 30 on the Players Championship Order of Merit. "I'm enjoying my start to life on the PDC ProTour," Greaves noted. "I've been struggling in patches with a bit of tension in my throw, but I am playing well and enjoying it." Her steady accumulation of ranking money suggests this historic feat is more than a novelty—it's a step in establishing herself within the ProTour landscape.
