Beau Greaves' remarkable unbeaten run on the PDC Women's Series has come to an end after months of invincibility. The Englishwoman lost for the first time since April 2025, bringing her streak of 114 wins—worth seventeen consecutive titles—to an abrupt halt. The player who stopped her was Fallon Sherrock, who produced a superb display with a 102.12 average and won convincingly 4-1 at the fifth event last weekend.
Greaves admitted the defeat left little room for debate, stating, "I knew at some point I was most likely going to lose. To be fair, Fallon was unbelievable, so I can't even say I didn't play well. I played really good. She was just magic." She added, "To be fair, I should have lost 4-0 to Fallon. I was lucky to get a leg and she averaged 102. It was one of those games where I thought I can't do anything about it, just move on." Despite this acceptance, Greaves expressed irritation, saying, "Laura Turner asked me the other day and I was like, I am annoyed! I was annoyed."
However, the defeat did not puncture her dominance. Greaves immediately hit back with tournament wins at the next three events, showcasing her resilience. She attributed this mental toughness to her development, noting, "Nothing will ever get me down. I am too strong mentally for anybody or anything to affect my darts." Greaves also acknowledged struggles away from the oche, saying, "I've had my struggles on stream. I think when I started my Tour Card, it just hit me a little bit differently," but emphasized the importance of enjoyment in her full-time profession.
Looking ahead, Greaves is focused on achieving consistency at the highest level. She stated, "It would be really nice to do well with my Tour Card. I am just trying to get a bit more consistent, I have just been a bit poor on tour. I am just trying to play at a consistent level and I have not done that yet." This comes after she has already made a strong mark on the PDC circuit, including a historic nine-darter on the ProTour.
