MITCHELL LAWRIE EXTENDS WINNING STREAK TO 24 MATCHES WITH JDC ADVANCED TOUR TRIUMPH

Mitchell Lawrie reinforced his status as the standout talent on the JDC Advanced Tour, securing his fourth consecutive tournament victory over the weekend in Bristol. The 15-year-old, last year's runner-up at the WDF World Championship, dominated event five at Hangar 61 on March 21 and 22, defeating Archie Self, Joseph Westby, Owen Bryceland, and Alfie Moore with emphatic whitewashes before dispatching Christian Ennis 5-2 in the semifinals. In the final, Lawrie overcame Jack Johnson 6-3, extending his unbeaten streak to an impressive 24 matches and strengthening his lead in the rankings.

While Lawrie shone, three other players claimed titles, highlighting the depth in youth darts. Alfie Cook, 13, captured his first title of the season in event six with a commanding 6-1 win over Johnson in the final, reeling off six consecutive legs. Jayden Walker dominated event seven, not dropping a leg in his semifinal and closing out the tournament with a clear 6-2 victory over Johnson in the final. Archie Self, 16, rounded off the weekend by taking the title in event eight, surviving a tense semifinal and defeating Kaya Baysal, the reigning JDC Winmau World Masters champion, 6-1 in the final after earlier wins over Eelyas Van Bruyssel and Aaron De Ridder.

Jack Johnson enjoyed a notably consistent weekend despite falling short in three finals, having also reached the finals of events six and seven. The young Englishman, who won the JDC Super 16 title last year, showcased his skill but had to settle for runner-up spots behind Cook and Walker. With four different winners in a single weekend, the top of youth darts proves highly competitive, though Lawrie remains the benchmark with his remarkable run and consistent level on the 2026 JDC Advanced Tour.
