RYAN SEARLE CLAIMS EIGHTH PRO TOUR TITLE, EXTENDS WINNING STREAK TO SEVEN STRAIGHT SEASONS

Ryan Searle has secured his eighth Pro Tour title with victory at Players Championship 7, continuing a remarkable run of consistency. The Englishman defeated Alan Soutar 8-3 in the final, capping off a composed performance that included a semi-final win over Gary Anderson and earlier triumphs against Raymond van Barneveld and Jimmy van Schie.

This latest success marks the seventh consecutive season in which Searle has won at least one Players Championship event, a streak that began with his first Pro Tour title in 2020. His ability to maintain this level of performance sets him apart in a field where form often fluctuates rapidly, as he repeatedly advances deep into tournaments and capitalizes on winning opportunities.

Searle's steady scoring and clinical finishing have already translated to success on bigger stages, including a final appearance at the Players Championship Finals in 2021 and a World Championship semi-final earlier this year. With eight Pro Tour titles now to his name and another season off to a winning start, the focus shifts to when this consistent form will yield a major title.
