The Euro Tour season launches from February 20 to 22 with the Poland Darts Open in Krakow, marking Poland's first time hosting a Euro Tour ranking tournament. The event features a total prize fund of £230,000, with £35,000 reserved for the winner. This move follows PDC activity in Poland with World Series events in recent years, now establishing a permanent spot on the Euro Tour calendar.
The field in Krakow is stacked with top talent, including World Champion Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen, Gary Anderson, and Gerwyn Price, making it one of the strongest tournaments of the year. Financially, the stakes are high: the runner-up earns £15,000, semi-finalists get £10,000, quarter-finalists £8,000, third-round losers £5,000, second-round losers £3,500, and first-round losers £2,000.
A special provision applies to seeded players: if they lose their opening match in the second round, they receive prize money, but it does not count towards the rankings. This rule does not apply to players who come through qualifying and later move into a seeded position due to a withdrawal, in which case the prize money is fully included in the Order of Merit.
