PDC PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP 4 DRAW REVEALED: HUMPHRIES, PRICE, GREAVES AND DOBEY LEARN FIRST-ROUND PATHS

The draw for Players Championship 4 has been confirmed, setting up a series of intriguing first-round ties as the Pro Tour action continues. Luke Humphries, who missed the opening Players Championship weekend, will face Martijn Dragt as he looks to build momentum in his delayed 2026 campaign. Fresh from his PC3 title win on Sunday, Chris Dobey takes on Tommy Morris, while Stephen Bunting, who lost to Dobey in that final, opens against Chris Landman.

Several established contenders face potentially tricky openers. Gerwyn Price meets Mensur Suljovic in a clash of experience, Peter Wright begins against Thomas Lovely, and Jonny Clayton faces Max Hopp. James Wade, the winner of Players Championship 1, will play Cam Crabtree. Beau Greaves continues to draw focus on her Pro Tour run with a high-profile first-round tie against Niels Zonneveld.

Other notable first-round matches include Andy Boulton versus Rob Cross, Joe Cullen against Keane Barry, Damon Heta versus Kai Gotthardt, Raymond van Barneveld against Darryl Pilgrim, and Michael Smith taking on Alexander Merkx. The full draw also features matches such as Karel Sedlacek vs Adam Gawlas, Madars Razma vs Jim Long, Jack Tweddell vs Dimitri Van den Bergh, and Nathan Aspinall vs Thibault Tricole.

The event follows quickly from a dramatic PC3 in Wigan, where Dobey emerged victorious by beating Bunting in the final. Both players now return to the board with scrutiny on how they respond to that result, with the short turnaround adding psychological interest to their opening matches. The draw places several early-season narratives front and centre as the Pro Tour continues.
