The entries for Players Championship 7 and 8 have been confirmed, with the two floor tournaments set for Monday, March 30th and Tuesday, March 31st at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester. A total of 128 players will compete each day, all vying for the daily title and a top prize of £15,000 per event. Each tournament features a £150,000 prize fund, and at the end of the season, the top 64 performers qualify for the Players Championship Finals in November.
Most of the big names will be present in Leicester, including Premier League stars such as Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, and Gerwyn Price. Price, the leader of the Players Championship Order of Merit, will only play on Tuesday. Wessel Nijman, who sits second in the standings, will also compete. However, Luke Littler is again absent, meaning he has yet to play a single Players Championship event in 2026. Luke Humphries, who has only appeared at PC 3 & 4 so far, has also decided not to travel to Leicester. Aside from the two Lukes, all other top stars will be in action.
The full participant lists for both events include a wide array of players. For Players Championship 7, entrants range from Gary Anderson and Nathan Aspinall to Peter Wright and Niels Zonneveld, with notable names like Rob Cross, Joe Cullen, and Michael Smith also featured. Players Championship 8 sees a similar lineup, with Gerwyn Price added to the roster. The events promise intense competition as players chase ranking points and prize money on the PDC circuit.
